There are two videos we think you need to see today. The first covers a well publicized journey. The second raises some very serious questions, that actually do have answers, right now, right here.
First, the solar taxi was escorted across Saudi Arabia, crossed the Swiss alps, delivered UN delegates to work in New York city and was home for for driver Louis Palmer for nearly two years. About 400 people hitched rides in the car during the journey. This video gives you an overview of the car and the trip Palmer undertook to educate as many people as possible on the possibilities of solar powered driving. There are actually many videos in this series outlining a fascinating world journey.
Richard lives in Olympia, Washington. Washington state is not known as a state with a lot of sunshine: it’s certainly not a dessert state, but it does provide more than enough sunlight for an individual’s home and car electricity needs.
We’ve said it over and over again. In many ways it’s the individual who has the best chance of succeeding with alternative fuel sources today. Big companies and governments have big problems with big storage and distribution needs that you and I don’t have. We can frequently do things cheaper and easier as a result.
So, as Richard asks, why don’t we? Your thoughts?
